Which shoe is right for me? – Fox News

By Gail Sheehy, Fox News Staff WriterWashington, DC (CNN) While the first lady enjoys playing golf and has been in the spotlight with her recent appearance at the annual gala of the National Basketball Association Players Association, the Obamas are taking a break from the world of political events and traveling to the South Carolina statehouse for a “Gang of Five” summit.

In an effort to bring the White House to the state for the summit, Michelle Obama is planning to attend a rally at a local church in South Carolina’s capital, which she said is the “most important place in America” to discuss the issue of gun violence.

In a video posted online, Michelle said she is “really excited” to go to the church to speak with the congregation about gun violence, the “real causes” of gun deaths and the need for a national conversation about the causes of gun suicides.

“It’s the most important time to talk about guns,” Michelle Obama said in the video.

“We’re going to be there and we’re going on the stage and we will talk about the real causes of guns, and the real solution.”

“It is not the first time I’ve been in a state, in fact, I have gone to more states than this, but I am excited to go and talk about this,” she added.

In March, Michelle and her husband, Joe, visited the statehouse in Columbia, South Carolina, for the annual event hosted by the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the nation’s oldest civil rights organization.

The Obamas have not been to South Carolina since April, when they were at the State Fair in Greensboro, North Carolina.

In a joint appearance with South Carolina Gov.

Nikki Haley, Michelle called for an end to “violence against black people.”

Michelle Obama, a first lady, joined her husband on the tour of the statehouses to talk to legislators about gun control, and she told Fox News on Thursday that she is planning a visit to the capital to discuss gun violence in a live-streamed interview on Fox News Channel.

“We’re doing a lot of rallies around the country, and this is a really important opportunity to bring a conversation about guns to the nation,” Michelle said.

“This is not just a conversation that we’re having at home, but it’s a conversation in the streets.”

She said the “gangs of five” will include Republican Gov.

Pat McCrory and Democratic state Sen. Jim McGovern, who has pledged to introduce a bill banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines in the state.

“I am going to make a big announcement, Michelle, and I’m going to have a meeting with them about guns in this state,” Michelle told Fox.

“And then we’ll all go back to work and we’ll see what we can do,” she said, “and we’ll work on making sure we’re doing all of this together.”

Michelle said the two of them are planning to make their announcement in the “next few days.”

Michelle will be at the Gilded Age Ballroom on Friday to hold a “We Are the Gang” concert, and Fox News contributor Michelle Fields will host a discussion about gun issues in the South.

In South Carolina on Thursday, the White Houses South Carolina tour will feature a dinner and a forum hosted by Haley and Vice President Joe Biden.

The White House has also held a rally with the South Carolinians for the benefit of victims of gun crime and violence, which Michelle said will be the largest event of the summit.

The White House said that the “Gangs of Five Summit” will address “the real causes” behind gun violence and “the urgent need to address the root causes.”

The summit will also include a discussion of the “whys” behind mass shootings and the “whys” behind other recent mass shootings, including those in Orlando, San Bernardino, Orlando, Aurora, Virginia Tech, the Pulse nightclub, Newtown, the Sikh temple in Wisconsin, and Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

On Friday, the South Koreans are expected to be the first to attend the summit as well.

Ahead of the WhiteHouse visit, South Korean President Moon Jae-in will address the summit in a speech at a news conference in Seoul, according to the presidential office.

The summit comes as the U.S. is facing renewed scrutiny over the deadly shooting rampage at a gay nightclub in Orlando that killed 49 people and wounded more than 50 others.

In the wake of the attack, South Korea has enacted new laws restricting the sale and possession of guns in the country.

President Moon has said the new laws were needed to protect people from “radicalization” after the shooting, which occurred during a national holiday.

The president said the ban is not aimed at “hate groups” and “terrorists,” but is “to stop gun violence.”

The U.N. Security Council has called on South Korea to reinstate
