Man dies in beach walking accident, woman survives

A man and woman who went missing from a hiking sandal resort in Florida have been found alive and well in the ocean, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

According to the Orlando police department, a search for the two men in a cove near a popular hiking trail turned up the body of the man about 10 p.m.

Sunday.

The woman was found Sunday afternoon.

Both were wearing sandals.

They were wearing blue pantsuits, a black T-shirt, black gloves and blue sandals, according to a police report.

Police identified the victims as 37-year-old John E. “John” Estrada of Orlando and 31-yearold Lauren Estradas of Lake Wales, Florida.

Police said a female was also found dead Sunday in a similar cove in Lake Wales.

Both had been hiking at the beach and were found by people who saw them walking in the water.

Baby boy’s new sandals have been described as ‘a piece of history’ by parents

A baby boy’s sandals were described by his mum as a piece of “history” by a local resident after they were spotted in the middle of a street.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was walking home from school at about 8.30pm on Friday, when he spotted the shoes on the ground, said Ms Shire, who was walking with her daughter, who also had a pair of shoes.

“I was just like, ‘Is that my baby boy sandal?'”

Ms Shade said.

“The whole neighbourhood thought it was a piece from the past.”

“It was just a piece, it was just some old shoe.

The mother was like, he’s got to wear sandals again!”‘

It’s a piece that’s meant to be a part of him’The mum said she thought she had just witnessed the return of a “biblical era”.

“We’ve got to have a look at this.

It’s a little bit different, but we’ll have to see,” she said.

Ms Shade was shocked to see her baby boy, wearing the pair of sandals and his mother’s favourite pair of flip flops.

“He’s wearing flip flop shoes, but he has these shoes that he has to wear.

I just thought it would be lovely to see this in a new light,” she added.”

It’s the first time in my life that I’ve ever seen this.”

Baby boy’s mother says he’s “a piece that we are” The mum said the pair had been bought at a local store in their hometown of Sydney and were meant to have worn by their father.

“This is what the shoes were supposed to be,” she told ABC Local Radio.

“But it’s not the first child they’ve had to look after and it’s been a bit of a shock for them.”

“This little boy is going to be one of the nicest, most kind and affectionate kids that you’ve ever met.

I don’t know what he’s going to grow up to be, but I know he’ll be a wonderful son.”

The pair are the latest item of clothing that has been donated to the child’s care by local resident, Dr Alana Mardis, who owns the business which has donated shoes since 2012.

“We’re a small business, so we’re trying to raise money to help with the costs of caring for him,” Dr Mardas said.”[But] the last thing we want is for him to have to put up with this anymore.”

The mother said the community was supportive of the pair, but she said they were concerned the boy would not have them again.

“That’s the biggest concern for me, that he doesn’t have a pair,” she explained.

“A baby boy needs shoes, they can’t have just a pair.”

As soon as I saw the sandals it just hit me: ‘I’ve got the shoes’.

“The pair were handed to the family in a private collection last week, but are being stored at a nearby local store.

Ms Mardes said the boy’s shoes were very special to her and were a “piece that’s intended to be” a part “of him”.”

I know it’s going in to the bin, but they are going in and getting their first use,” she noted.
